Naughty or Nice?
That's the question he asked and I didn't know how to answer.... Santa has actually turned his face to the camera but his hair and beard didn't turn with his face!
Last night we attended the Gibbonsville Christmas Party-held in a 100 year old school house, where all the Gibbonsville events are held. The wooden plank floors are creaky, the numerous animal heads are dusty and the piano is indescribable. After the big gas fire gets going the place really warms up, but until then we all stand around blowing on our hands and warming each other with our smiles.
There is no water in the building, (but there are outhouses out back), so all the food is brought in and all the dishes are taken out. The potluck was wonderful. Bruce barbequed up huge sirloin steaks for all, there were three huge pots of homemade chili, macaroni casseroles, italian casseroles and garlic bread. Not one salad on the bar! And the homemade desserts... oooh baby. We ate ourselves silly and then sang Christmas Carols lustily. I accompanied on the indescribable piano. After Santa came we all played Bingo- it was a blast!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I've been thinking about you and wondering how you are doing out there in the wilderness! Life is good! Somewhat crazy! Just reading about your own experiences make me feel like I am missing out on something ... I think it can be summed up in one word ... Peace! My Mom and Dad were out visiting us from Winnipeg over Christmas break. It was great having them. Of course, we missed them as soon as we left them at the airport to go back home. We wish you a wonderful year in 2007! Cynthia, Christine and Carmel
