Quilting Bee

I thought tales of quilting bees were warm fuzzy legends of ancient days - but... they really exist, and I was there! The empty place on the front end is where I was sitting. This sociable activity takes place every Tuesday at an establishment called '2 Rivers' in North Fork, Idaho.

North Fork is about 8 miles from our house; it consists of a gas station and general store, coffee shop, post office and '2 Rivers', which houses a coffee bistro, internet facilities and weekly ladies groups.

On the day I took these pictures 'the ladies' were also having a pot luck luncheon and gab fest - it was great!!!
