Eleven Days!

I can't believe it has been that long since I last posted. I guess we have been M.I.A. with our son Thom and his beloved, Rebecca, affectionately known as 'the RG'.

Over the last week we have driven several times through wintry forest wonderlands to and from the Missoula airport, and we have cross country skied on a perfect, cold, sunny day at the top of the Continental Divide.

We had a shortage of glasses so we drank a warming cup of tea out of yogurt tubs.

We all had fun in the kitchen together and made way too many Thanksgiving pies - Pumpkin for Jerry and me, Huckleberry for Dad, Apple for RG and Dave.

RG rules, by the way, I am eating a piece of her delicious apple pie as I type.

Oh, and Thom made a wonderful Banana Cream pie!

We went bowling in Salmon, we feasted on turkey dinner and got soundly trounced at Scrabble by 'the kids' that night.

We enjoyed every minute of their visit. It is wonderful to be in the presence of young love!

I had not yet seen the warming hut picture until now. Wonderful composition, Dave! I hadn't realized that we were in ascending order.
