Beauty Contest
I wish I could connect the photo cord for my camera to my brain.
On our trip through Western Montana and British Columbia to Alberta and back we saw so much beautiful, beautiful scenery that I can not even begin to describe it. I tried taking pictures but they just can't capture what we saw. The Canadian Rockies are still so (relatively) new and high and sharply rugged. The evening sun plays on them in ways that set their crags in astonishing relief. The colours of the golden trees, the red shrubs, the blue, blue autumn sky, sunsets, sunrises, cloudy mists, gorgeous lakes, rivers, marshes, picturesque tiny towns, Calgary majesty - All descriptions fail. Suffice it to say....nothing. You must get in the car and see the autumn colours in the mountains yourself, you simply must!

For one who is lost for words, you do amazingly well. I think I recognize the beauty in the picture you have chosen and would bet a latte that it's Alberta. As the Dude would say, "Am I wrong?"
