When my sister and kids were here, we had occasion to climb the big hill behind Dad's house. It was another hot day and the hill is quite steep and rocky; it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to ascend. During the climb different two-somes would form and various conversational topics were explored, when we could speak, that is - we spent a lot of time seeking out shade and catching our breath.

A rock was found in the perfect shape of an 'L' and that started us on a quest for all the shapes to spell the word 'love'. Someone else found a beautiful purple leaf fossil. Here is what we brought back!
